Update your CPD Points on the M&DC Portal
Starting August 2024, WCEA, in partnership with the Medical & Dental Council of Ghana, has introduced a Mandatory Diaspora CPD Subscription Plan for Diaspora professionals overseas that want to renew their practicing license in Ghana.
In addition to paying your license fees to M&DC, all Diaspora Doctors, Dentists, Clinical Officers and Nurse Anesthetists are recommended to have a subscription due to dual accreditation of the resources.
You will gain access 100’s of courses covering all specialty areas from leading global education providers, attend webinars, access research articles and more. And on successfully completing courses you will obtain a certification but ALL your CPD points get posted directly into the M&DC portal.

PAYMENT PROCESS
How to Make Payments
When you register or login to an existing account for the first time, you will be presented with the subscription plan. You will then be asked whether you want to use a local or international payment method.
If you are in the Diaspora, and are using an international card, select “STRIPE – International Card Payments”, however if you are in Ghana and want to use a local payment method, select “DPO Pay – Local Payment Cards”. We recommend that you use STRIPE platform.
If you select “DPO Pay – Local Payment Cards”, then you will be asked to enter your personal details and then choose Payment Methods.
When the payment has been processed you will be given immediate access to the WCEA platform. The subscription WILL NOT automatically renew and will lapse at the end of the subscription period you have selected. During the subscription period, you will have full access to all courses on the platform at no additional cost.
