Free Accredited CPD on the NCZ/WCEA Platform

The Nursing Council of Zimbabwe in collaboration with the WCEA (partner of the International Council of Nurses) is providing all Nurses practising in Zimbabwe with access to a Mobile App & Online CPD & training platform.

You will be able to access courses covering all specialities, attend free bi-weekly webinars, access research articles and much more.

Starting in December 2024, WCEA, in partnership with the Nursing Council of Zimbabwe (NCZ), will introduce a Diaspora CPD Subscription Plan to help overseas nurses and midwives renew their practicing licenses in Zimbabwe. Nurses and midwives practicing in Zimbabwe will continue to have free access.

You will have access to hundreds of courses covering all specialty areas, provided by leading global education providers, as well as webinars, research articles, and more. After completing a course and passing the post-test, you will need to complete the evaluation. Once done, your certificate will be available in your Education Tracker within the mobile app and LMS. Please note that you must earn 12 CPD points on the platform before your CPD points are reflected in your profile on the NCZ portal.

After finishing a course, passing the post-test, and completing the evaluation, your certificate will be accessible in the Certificates section of the mobile app and LMS (formerly called Education Tracker). Currently, we do not send certificates via email; you can download them directly from this section.

If you’re unable to locate your courses, you might have multiple accounts. Consider using the forgotten username feature to check for additional accounts.

To renew your license, it’s mandatory to maintain an active WCEA subscription and fulfill 60 points every 3 years, and 20 points each year on the WCEA platform.

You will encounter the subscription plan upon registering or logging in to an existing account for the first time. Subsequently, you’ll be prompted to choose between a local or international payment method.

To make payments using Stripe, simply choose your preferred payment option, enter your card details, confirm the payment, and receive payment confirmation.
