Webinar Title: Access To Medicines in Malawi: Addressing Affordability and Availability
This webinar series is designed to strengthen the knowledge and competencies of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals in understanding the key factors affecting access to affordable and consistently available medicines in Malawi. The sessions will explore medicine pricing, taxation, financing, procurement, pharmaceutical supply chain management, stock management, distribution, and other factors influencing medicine access.

Speaker: Associate Professor Felix Khuluza
Associate Professor Felix Khuluza is a registered pharmacist, health economist and pharmaceutical supply chain specialist. He has over fourteen years of experience in researching the availability and affordability of essential medicines, pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain, and Quality of Medicines in Malawi and low-income countries. Felix Khuluza holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Malawi, a Master of Health Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia, and an honours degree in Pharmacy from the University of Malawi. He is a CARTA graduate and EDCTP fellow. He also served as a non-executive director for PMRA.
