Speaker: Dr Ben Lamatayo MD, MRCP, EAKI Neph Fellowship, ESE Neph, FISN
Dr. Ben Lomatayo is a Consultant Physician and Nephrologist at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu, Kenya. He is interested in glomerular diseases, kidney transplantation, and interventional and critical care nephrology. Dr. Lomatayo completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the East African Kidney Institute (EAKI) of the University of Nairobi (UoN) and holds memberships in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) of London as well as a European Specialty Examination certificate in nephrology (ESE Neph). Additionally, he completed a fellowship in clinical transplantation at the World Kidney Academy (WKA). Dr. Lomatayo is also a Fellow of the International Society of Nephrology (FISN).
Objectives: Understand the importance of early detection in preventing the progression of CKD.
