Lauren is a midwife and mother to Mia and Jada. Jada was stillborn at 41 weeks and the impact of her passing led Lauren to become a midwife and university lecturer at King’s College London. Lauren continues to teach students and healthcare professionals about the importance of bereavement care in maternity and has worked with the UK Government to improve standards in this area of care.
