Webinar Title: Career Paths in Pharmacy
This webinar has been organized to equip and inspire pharmacy professionals with knowledge regarding different career paths from available options.
Speaker: Dr John Mponda
Dr John Mponda is a lecturer and a pharmacist in the Department of Pharmacy at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. He has over 20years of teaching experience in the training of pharmacy and other health professionals. John completed his PhD from the University of Ibadan, in 2022 and his MSc. in Pharmacy obtained from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan in 2012. John obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the College of Medicine, University of Malawi in 2009. He obtained a Diploma in Health Personnel Education in 2003 at CEDHA in Tanzania. These postgraduate qualifications have made John a passionate leader, researcher, trainer and advocate in pharmacovigilance, regulation, quality control and safety of conventional and herbal medicines and practices. He contributes to University’s vision through teaching, consultancy, research and community outreach.

- Highlight the skills, qualifications, and experiences required to pursue various pharmacy career options.

- Discuss future trends in the pharmacy field and emerging opportunities for career advancement.
