Hosted & Sponsored by:

Webinar title: CPD Literacy as Capacity Building: Foundations for High-Quality Continuing Professional Development

What separates routine continuing education from truly high-impact Continuing Professional Development? High-quality Continuing Professional Development does not happen by accident. It requires CPD literacy across all stakeholders, including ministries of health, regulatory and governmental bodies, universities, hospitals, faculty, and learners themselves.

This interactive 60–90 minute webinar represents a foundational step in building that literacy. Participants will explore what effective CPD truly means beyond attendance and accreditation, and how to design, implement, and evaluate CPD that leads to measurable professional performance and patient outcomes.

Drawing from global CPD system assessments and real-world implementation experience across diverse healthcare environments, this session will clarify core frameworks, practical tools, and best practices that organizations can use immediately. Whether you are designing national CPD systems or improving local educational activities, this webinar provides a shared language and structure to strengthen CPD quality and impact.

Participants will examine needs assessment methodologies, gap analysis, measurable learning objectives, outcomes frameworks, including Moore’s Levels, interprofessional considerations, and implementation science approaches that strengthen CPD impact.

Attendees will leave with practical tools to design, evaluate, and improve CPD activities aligned with real-world performance and patient outcomes.
