Speaker: Dr Trust Zaranyika – Chairman University of Zimbabwe School of Medicine
Dr Trust Zaranyika completed his undergraduate degree in Medicine at the University of Zimbabwe, served as a government medical officer at Mutare General Hospital then SHO position in General Surgery at Parirenyatwa Hospital, worked as a State Doctor, Principal Medical Officer, and eventually Provincial Chief Medical Officer for the Otjozondjupa Region. In 2009 he enrolled for studies at the University of Capetownin Internal Medicine. He obtained a Gold Medal for excellence from the College of Physicians, South Africa – AM Meyers Medal. He then returned to Zimbabwe and joined the University of Zimbabwe in 2015, having obtained experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism experience at the UCT unit.
