Hiyam M. Nadel, MBA, RN, is the Director of the Center for Innovations in Care Delivery at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where she mentors caregivers and develops innovative healthcare solutions. Previously, she played a key role in reopening the MGH Obstetrics Department, creating a new nurse-care model and IT systems like the “Ambulatory Patient Tracking System” and “OB EMR.” A Johnson & Johnson Innovation Fellow and recipient of the 2020 Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Award, Nadel is also the founder of SONSIEL and co-author of The Rebel Nurse Handbook. She holds degrees from Northeastern, Brandeis, and Babson College.
