Speaker: Dr Brenda Maingi
Dr. Brenda Maingi is a passionate Consultant Family Physician in Nairobi City County’s Department of Medical Services. With a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s in Family Medicine from Havana, Cuba, her diverse training shapes her holistic approach to healthcare. A strong advocate for systems thinking and primary healthcare, Dr Maingi has played a pivotal role in strengthening healthcare delivery, including the successful establishment of five Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Kirinyaga County. She is currently involved in the establishment of a PCN in Dagoretti North Subcounty, in Nairobi.
