Webinar Title: Scope of Practice for Pharmacy Cadres
This lecture aims to expound the scope of pharmacy practice for pharmacy cadres in Malawi.
Speaker: Associate Professor Felix Khuluza
Felix is a registered pharmacist, health economist, pharmaceutical supply specialist, and pharmaceutical analyst. He has a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Malawi and a Master of Health Economics from the University of Queensland-Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in conducting research on the Quality of Medicines in Malawi and has been engaged by the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority in reviewing and drafting laws and regulations related to pharmacy in Malawi. Felix is resolute in finding solutions to substandard and falsified medicines in low- and middle-income countries in order to contribute towards better health for the poor.

- To examine regulatory framework guiding the scope of practice for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants.
- To discuss strategies for maximizing the contributions of pharmacy cadres to strengthen healthcare delivery.
