Consultant Public Health Physician, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital and Professor Public Health, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Special interest in Public Health Emergencies. Hands on, field and academic experiences in Public Health and Disaster management over three decades. Served as lecturer and Consultant to: University of Ilorin, Ilorin Nigeria, Kampala International University, Kampala Uganda, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, Nigerian Institute for Social and Economic Research, Nigerian Federal Ministry of Health, MSF, CDC Atlanta Georgia, USA and Amsterdam Institute for International Development (AIID).
Involved in programme management in various parts of Africa including Nigeria, Sudan and Uganda.
