Webinar Title: Understanding Medical Health Insurance Schemes and Policies
This webinar is aimed at strengthening pharmacists’ understanding of healthcare financing systems and the role that medical health insurance schemes play in improving access to healthcare services. As healthcare systems continue to evolve, pharmacists increasingly interact with medical insurance providers, reimbursement systems, and policy frameworks that influence patient access to medicines and healthcare services. A clear understanding of how health insurance schemes operate, their benefits, limitations, and financial structures is therefore essential for healthcare professionals involved in patient care and healthcare delivery. This session will provide pharmacists with a comprehensive overview of medical health insurance schemes, including how they function, the different models that exist, and their impact on healthcare access and pharmaceutical services.
