The World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) announces that the Renal Society of Australasia (RSA) has signed an annual agreement to use its platform and be the first to gain access to the biggest resource of Continuing Nursing Education made available on behalf of the International Council of Nurses.
About the RSA: RSA members approved the transition to its present structure as a Company Limited by Guarantee at the Annual Conference in Adelaide in 1998. Prior to this the Renal Society of Australasia (Inc) evolved from the formation, in 1972, of the Dialysis Society of Australasia by a committed group of health professionals working in the emerging technology of renal replacement therapy. As the society grew, it became known as the Renal Society of Australasia (Inc) – reflecting both the membership diversity and the rapid change occurring in renal health care. Members organised and ran the first conference in 1972.
