Collaborative Research Program in Liberia

Collaborative Research Program in Liberia

WCEA is pleased to continue its partnership with New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing, the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery (LBNM), and the Liberian Ministry of Health in a new research project. An Assessment of Knowledge, Attitude, and Readiness to Care for the Aging among Liberian Nurses and Midwives is a Global Health Pilot Grant funded by NYU Langone’s Section for Global Health in the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity.

WCEA/LBNM existing digital CPD platform has proven to be a spark for this research project. WCEA has developed the digital survey which has been distributed to all licensed nurses and midwives in Liberia. Our double authentication of licensed nurses and midwives registered with the LBNM dashboard is a critical factor in assuring the transparent participation from only those that are registered with LBNM.

We are excited with the acknowledgement of WCEA’s excellence in supporting all avenues of support for nursing and midwifery in Liberia and beyond.
