Speaker: Prof. Zubairu ILIYASU

Dr Zubairu Iliyasu is a Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine at Bayero University Kano and a Consultant Public Health Physician at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. He holds MBBS, MPH, and PhD degrees from the Universities of Maiduguri, Glasgow, and Sheffield, respectively. He holds the following fellowships (FWACP, FMCPH, and FFPH). He was the founding Director, of the Centre for Infectious Diseases Research (2016-2020), Chairs the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC), and is the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Kano. His research interests include HIV/SRH, Vaccinology, and Research Ethics.
