World Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness day always observed on 10 September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides. An estimated 18 people a day take their own life and for every suicide there are likely 20 other people making a suicide attempt, and many more have thoughts of serious self-harm. From research, figures have revealed that those most at risk of taking their own lives are men aged between 45 and 49, and women aged 45 to 54 with various activities around the world since 2003. We are encouraging people to talk in support of World Suicide Prevention Day which is celebrated annually.
